Arched in shape of claw of bird with lasting fragrance, this green tea produces a clear-green brew.
Twinwell Green Tea was well-known since 9th century. An ancient Chinese poet Huang Ting-jian (1045 - 1105) wrote about it.
Tea of Twinwell is from my native place; A sip of it worthy of great praise. Twinwell is a small village situated on Xiu River, the main producing place. Two grades are divided. The first one is made from shoots of one leaf about one inch long and the second grade from shoots of two leaves. The making-steps are roasting, shaping, baking, second shaping and drying. The output of the green tea is limited.
